蔡昭，宁波诺丁汉大学信息系统学教授，创业学、市场营销与管理系统系主任、诺丁汉中国卫生健康研究所执行主任。他的研究兴趣包括数字平台竞争、数字供应链管理和数字健康等领域，研究成果已发表在多本期刊，包括MIS Quarterly、Journal of Operations Management、Journal of Academy of Marketing Science、Journal of Association for Information Systems等，并获得多项科研基金资助。他还担任Industrial Management & Data Systems的管理编辑（Managing Editor）以及Internet Research的副编辑（Associate Editor），以及多项国际会议的子领域主席（Track Chair）和副编辑（Associate Editor）。他的研究成果曾获得PACIS最佳短论文奖（Best Short Paper Award）、AOM最佳论文奖（Best Paper Award）、AOM Carolyn Dexter奖等，其学术服务曾获得Internet Research、ICIS、ECIS优秀副编辑（Outstanding Associate Editor）等称号。
讲座摘要
Online Medical Consultation Platforms (OMCPs) have grown substantially, offering patients easier, cheaper access to care and physicians a way to expand their services. Due to intense competition, these platforms must offer additional service options to meet diverse patient needs. However, the nuances of this service flexibility and its impact on physicians are underexplored. Grounded in transaction cost theory, we investigate three technology-enabled service flexibilities and their roles in boosting OMC demand, alongside the moderating effects of physician- and market-related factors. Using a proprietary dataset from a leading OMCP, we conducted regression analysis. Due to complex interactions, we also employed fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis to identify configurations leading to high and low OMC demand. Our findings contribute to e-healthcare literature by affirming the importance of service flexibility and revealing how configurations of service options, providers, and market factors determine OMC demand.
